Commonwealth Bank of Australia [ii] (1984 - )

In 1984 the bank's name was changed to the Commonwealth Bank of Australia from the Commonwealth Banking Corporation.

By virtue of the Commonwealth Banks Restructuring Act in 1991 the Commonwealth Bank of Australia was incorporated as a company under the Corporations law
