Registered in Victoria in 1920 following the amalgamation of Australian Paper Co Ltd and Sydney Paper Mills Ltd. In 1926 the company's operating assets were taken over by Australian Paper Manufacturers Ltd. The company continued in existence as a holding company and in 1948 shareholders in Cumberland Paper Board Mills Ltd exchanged their holdings for shares in Australasian Paper & Pulp Co Ltd and in 1954 shareholders in Australasian Paper & Pulp Co Ltd agreed to exchange their holdings for shares in Australian Paper Manufacturers Ltd the company then went into liquidation. |
