ANZ Group Archive holds an estray minute book (1864-65) belonging to the Salonica Branch of the Ottoman Bank in Greece. It was not one of the branches acquired by National and Grindlays in 1969. ANZ purchased Grindlays Bank PLC in 1984 and sold its Grindlays businesses in the Middle East and South Asia (together with its associated Grindlays Private Banking business) to Standard Chartered PLC in July 2000.
