West Australian Petroleum Pty Ltd (1952 - 1999)

Established in 1952 as a joint venture between Caltex and Ampol to explore for oil and gas in Western Australia. Later included Texaco, Shell and Chevron and other companies participating in oil and gas exploration, production and development projects in Western Australia.

Ceased activities in 1999 when the company was taken over by Chevron.
