Summary
The Bombala Times was established by W.G. Tweedie in 1863 and it remained in the family until 1938 when it was bought by R.E. Johnson who had been publishing a paper in nearby Candelo. The printery remained in the Johnson family till 1985 when it was sold to a Mr Bradley. As well as publishing the newspaper, the proprietors operated a commercial printery.
