In 1887 the brewing company Prendergast, Wood & Co changed it's to Castlemaine Brewery & Wood Brothers & Co, Newcastle, New South Wales Ltd. In subsequent years the company acquired Great Northern Brewery. This was followed in 1921 with the Sydney based brewer Tooth & Co Ltd acquiring the assets of the company. |
