Summary
Brisbane Eclectic Supply Company acquired the rights to supply electricity to part of the inner city area of Brisbane and later a larger area under the Electricity Supply and Power Act of 1896. In 1904 the affairs of the company were taken over by the City Electric Light Co Ltd.
