Kalgurli Ore Treatment Company Ltd had its origins in the mining of the 'Golden Mile' in Western Australia. It was established to mill the ores of various gold mines but was later run by Boulder Perseverance and Kalgoorlie Enterprise Mines Ltd for their mines exclusively. When Gold Mines of Kalgoorlie (Aust.) Ltd acquired Boulder Perseverance in 1953 the Kalgoorlie Ore Treatment plant, except for the crushing station, was closed down and dismantled.
