| The company was established in 1915 by purchasing the motor business of Mr S.A. Cheney, including the Dodge Bros. Motor Cars agency for South Australia. The business comprised importation, manufacture and sale of motor vehicles and accessories, as well as a workshop and garage. Mr Cheney remained Managing Director until October 1920, when he left to establish a new business in Victoria. In 1922 the business name changed to Waymouth Motor Company Limited at the request of Dodge Bros. | |
