J.S. Watts & Sons (1900 - 1985?)

In 1839 John Watts began producing bricks at Hindmarsh. He established a business in Nairne in 1858 and made fire-bricks which could withstand intense heat. When Watts died in 1895 and his son Joseph took over the business. It was registered as J Watts & Son in 1900. When Joseph died in 1913 his sons Joseph and Albert took over the business. The business was sold in 1985 (?).
