In 1905 James Robin & Co was involved with nine other firms in a syndicate to form the Transcontinental Railway Company and to construct the East West Transcontinental Railway Line. The other participants were Simpson Newland, John Gordon, Henry Heale, Thomas R. Bowman, Hon. John Lewis, Messrs George Wills & Co., Henry Graves & Co., A.A. Brice & Co. Limited and A.E. Pitt. |
