Turner was born in London on 13 September 1808. He studied law a Lincoln's Inn and was admitted as a solicitor and attorney in 1829. He migrated to Port Phillip in 1850. He was a solicitor, Member of the Victorian Legislative Council and was Chairman of the Melbourne Hobson's bay railway Company. |
