This subsidiary had steel franchises covering Western Australia. In October 1957, Leask Corporation Pty. Ltd of Waitara, NSW was acquired. In June 1961, it was announced that the company had sold all its New Zealand interests to the Fletcher Trust Investment Co. Limited and the balance of some minor interests was sold to the same company in December 1961. | |
