Summary

Formed in 1929 the company acquired the property from the Mount Morgan Gold Mining Co Ltd (1886-1927). From 1882 when gold was first 'discovered' until 1886 the Mine was worked by a syndicate.

The company was taken over by Peko Wallsend Investments Ltd in 1968 but the name continued to be used until c1993. Mining ceased in 1981 but a retreatment plant recovered tailings worked until 1990.
