In 1904 J.A. Newton of J.A. Newton & Co sold out to D.E. McLaren. Newton McLaren Limited was subsequently incorporated in early 1905, continuing as electrical engineers and merchants. The company was bought out by Lawrence and Hanson Pty Ltd in 1974. |
