In 1907 the Perth and Fremantle Bottle Exchange was incorporated in Perth, Western Australia. In 1964 company became Western Australian Glass manufacturers Pty Ltd. Initially the business was limited to bottle collecting, from about 1912 the company expanded its activities to include the manufacture, sale and lease of bottles, jars, packing casks and cases.
